A private tour of Shock Wave: Japanese Fashion Design, 1980s-90s before Denver bids sayonara to this exhibition at the end of May!
Begin your evening with signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and stunning views of the city from the ART Hotel’s rooftop FIRE Lounge. Then, stroll around the corner to the Denver Art Museum for a personal tour of Shock Wave guided by Florence Müller, the DAM’s highly regarded Textile Art and Fashion Curator from Paris. The exhibit features works by Japanese designers, including Issey Miyake, Kenzo Takada, Kansai Yamamoto, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons, and Junya Watanabe, who together began a “fashion revolution” that continues to inspire today’s fabrics, designs and contemporary art. End the evening by receiving a gift of the exhibition catalog, Shock Wave: Japanese Fashion Design, 1980s-90s, signed by the author, Florence Müller. Located on the storied York Mountain, Epoch is an ultra-premium producer of wines from Rhone, Zinfandel, and Tempranillo varieties grown on their two west Paso Robles vineyards – Paderewski and Catapult. As the steward of both the historic York Mountain Winery property and the Paderewski Vineyard, Epoch is committed to the land it cherishes, the quality wines crafted, and the rich legacies now shared with the next generation of Epoch drinkers.
Experience the Armstrongs’ winemaking journey firsthand with this Epoch weekend package. This stay can accommodate three couples for a long weekend (four days and three nights) in the fully renovated 120-year-old York Mountain Farmhouse that the Armstrongs now cherish as their personal guest home. All three master-suites are beautifully restored, each boasting a king bed and a spacious, full bathroom.
