Dream Event 1

Hoedown at The Barn at Raccoon Creek

Wednesday, July 29 at 6:30 pm

Lively music will fill this beautifully renovated barn situated on the historic Grant Ranch, dating back to 1878.  Cocktails and dinner will be followed by some fine foot stompin’ tunes by Bonnie and the Clydes.

Man of La Mancha followed by a Catered Dinner on Stage

Saturday, August 1 at 2:30 pm

Begin your experience with premiere seating for a matinée performance of Man of La Mancha. Following the performance, stroll across the street to the historic Johnson House for cocktails and lively conversation with La Mancha performing artists and CCO Artistic Director Pat Pearce. This post-matinée experience culminates with a catered dinner on the Central City Opera stage amidst the magical sets of La Mancha.

Gipsy Kings in Concert at Denver Botanic Gardens
with VIP Seating and a Gourmet Picnic Dinner

The Gipsy Kings will “shake the petals” with a dance-ready furor (think nomadic blend of flamenco, western pop and Latin rhythms). Enjoy a festive picnic dinner (with wine!) in the VIP tent overlooking the grassy banks of the Botanic Gardens concert venue. No need to tote your blankets or chairs to this fun evening.

Anne Evans’ Historic Cabin Exclusive Tour and Lunch

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tour the mountain cabin in Evergreen, CO that
once belonged to Anne Evans.  Barbara Sternberg, author of an acclaimed biography about Evans,
will be on hand to lend insight into the life of this extraordinary Colorado woman. Evans’ rustic cabin
was built in 1910 by Jock Spence, and was further expanded by noted Denver architect,
Burnham Hoyt in 1924. Once the summer home of Anne Evans, it is now a private residence.
The structure is listed on the National Register.  Join us for a picnic lunch and a very special afternoon.

Tales of the World's Stolen Treasures at the Brand New ART Hotel

An exquisite evening in the brand new ART Hotel in the Denver Arts District will feature an elegant cocktail reception and a presentation by Robert Wittman, author of the book Priceless: How I went Undercover to Rescue the World’s Stolen Treasures. Wittman, who spent 20 years with the FBI, is one of the world's leading authorities on recovering stolen art and cultural property. He posed undercover as an American art expert for a European organized crime group to recover a Rembrandt self-portrait that was valued at $36 million.  Wittman’s suspenseful stories contain the intrigue of The Monuments Men and Woman in Gold. The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from Flame Restaurant.

In what may be one of the most perfect meetings of Denver's past and its future, the new makers of Tivoli Beer will open their own brewery, taproom and restaurant inside the historic former home of the original Tivoli Brewing Company in Downtown Denver.  BE ONE OF THE FIRST to experience the newly renovated brewhouse while tasting a variety of local beers paired with savory bites in Tivoli’s taproom.

Wyeth Exhibit with Private Reception and talk by 
Curator Timothy Standring

Friday, November 13 at 5:30 pm

Enjoy a very special evening at the groundbreaking Denver Art Museum exhibition exploring the art of Andrew Wyeth and his son Jamie. “Wyeth: Andrew and Jamie in the Studio” will feature more than 100 works created in a variety of media, including pen and ink, graphite, chalk, watercolor, dry brush, tempera, oil, and mixed media. The evening will feature a private cocktail reception at Kevin Taylor's Palettes
with a talk by Timothy Standring, curator of the exhibit.
